Yes, we can always be kind. And needed now as much as kindness is open-mindedness and humility - especially in all things health-wise. For me, the most confidence and trust-inspiring words from a doctor are "I don't know. Let's look into this. And maybe we might try..." The gate-keeping in medical fields is pure arrogance. It's stifling. And it's anti-science. I think it's a product of professions being taken over by industries. Whenever I hear anyone -- especially a vet -- refer to the "veterinary industry," I want to cry. I'm grateful for all the kind, humble, open-minded and open-hearted healers who buck this terrible trend

Thank you- great article, it reaffirms my own instincts and beliefs. All health practitioners should take note!

I have always taken the natural, whole body/mind/soul approach to health and well-being, and that approach extends also to my beloved pets. It’s worked, I have healthy aging pets, the oldest being 18 years old and still bouncy and playful.
